Communist Party of Greece (KKE) leader Aleka Papariga warned on Saturday that ruling PASOK and main opposition New Democracy (ND) were preparing a co-governance, and that their clash at this time was over who will have the upper hand.
In an interview with RealNews newspaper, Papariga said that "PASOK and ND are preparing a co-governance and their clash now is who will have the upper hand".
She said that the two mainstream parties (PASOK and ND), Popular Orthodox Rally (LAOS) leader George Karatzaferis and Democratic Alliance (DYSY) leader Dora Bakoyannis were "accomplices in everything that has been done at the people's expense and will do everything to load off on the people the capitalist crisis".
Papariga predicted "rapid and exceptionally dangerous developments" and called on the prime minister to call early elections "if he wants the citizens' opinion".
