The main opposition New Democracy (ND) party focused its policy on the issue of taxation a week before the visit of its leader Antonis Samaras to Thessaloniki’s International Trade Fair (TIF) and called on the government to adopt the ND proposal on the immediate reduction of tax rates.
ND spokesman Yiannis Mihelakis on Friday maintained that “the economy has reached its limits as a result of the wrong policy followed and because of the government’s inefficiency”.
Mihelakis said that “the state of the economy and society as a whole do not allow for fixations on the wrong recipe and call for the immediate adoption and implementation of the proposals made by ND.”
