Greece’s Finance ministry on Thursday launched procedures to find legal advisors for the privatization of Athens Water and Thessaloniki Water enterprises. 

    Under the government’s privatization plan, the state will sell 27 pct of Athens Water (from 61 pct it currently owns) and 40 pct in Thessaloniki Water (from 74 pct it currently owns). 

    Candidate law firms and offices must submit their offers by Wednesday, 12 October.
