Opposition parties reacted strongly on Thursday to the labour reserve issue and changes in labour relations.
Main opposition New Democracy party employment and social security sector head Nikos Nikolopoulos said "the reserve and the compulsory pensioning and dismissals it brings, upset family programming and injure social cohesion."
The Communist Party of Greece (KKE) said these measures have been decided in advance and have nothing to do with the debt and the deficits. They go directly into the pocket of the employers.
The Popular Orthodox Rally (LA.O.S) party's spokesman said the government of PASOK is first in demolition. However, in building it is totally absent.
On its part, the Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA) spoke of two more lethal blows to sector collective agreements and salaries in the private sector.
