The review of Greece's progress in advancing the EU-IMF support programme is due to be completed soon, and in a positive way, but the relevant talks are not yet finished, the head of the International Monetary Fund's (IMF) mission to Greece, Poul Thomsen, said on Friday.

Thomsen, who heads the IMF delegation of the European Commission (EC), European Central Bank (ECB) and IMF 'troika', said that "good progress" has been made, but added that there are still important matters to be discussed.

He said that there was still some way for conclusion of the talks.
