The protagonist of the embarrassing incident concerning his leading a cadet group who, on the day of the Polytechneio anniversary on November 17, were singing the junta regime anthem, will appear in front of the disciplinary board of the Greek Military Cadet Academy.

At the same time, judges will decide on whether the officer committed other criminal offences, too.

According to present evidence, he ordered 5 cadets to learn the anthem of the junta generals by heart and made them sing it while in the academy on November 17.

Other higher officials believe that Greece’s democracy is solid enough and there is no danger of its being overthrown no matter what.
