The new financial rules agreed during the summit will be ratified by an increased majority of 3/5 of the Greek Parliament.

This disclosure was made by Finance Minister Mr. Evangelos Venizelos, who stated that the regulation cannot be added in the Constitution, the review of which has been authorized for 2013.

“It is essentially ratifying an international convention adopted by the House on the basis of Article 28 of the Constitution”, stated the Finance Minister.

He expressed his optimism on the outcome of talks with the Troika on the 2013-2015 program starting on Monday, while he estimated that pace of the PSI negotiations will develop well.
