Fitch cuts Greece's credit rating by one notch

The Fitch credit rating firm on Friday downgraded Greece’s long-term credit rating by one notch to BB+, from BBB-, putting the Eurozone member-country to the category of less credible state bond issuers. (ANA-MPA).

The Fitch credit rating firm on Friday downgraded Greece’s long-term credit rating by one notch to BB+, from BBB-, putting the Eurozone member-country to the category of less credible state bond issuers. (ANA-MPA).

In a reaction, the finance ministry referred to progress in fiscal adjustment and structural changes as well as the recent positive assessment of Greece's course by the European Commission, the European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund.
