President Papoulias receives Iraqi President Talabani

President of the Republic Karolos Papoulias received the President of Iraq Jalal Talabani on Friday evening.

The two leaders agreed that they are linked with a longstanding friendship, while President Papoulias noted that the visit is taking place "at a very crucial moment."

Talabani is in Athens to participate on Saturday in the meeting of the Socialist International's Directorate.
