The Infrastructures, Transport and Networks ministry is proceeding with the deregulation of the public passenger vehicles (taxis) sector, continuing the task of general structural changes being promoted by the government.
Minister Dimitris Reppas said Thursday the changes being promoted aim at the modernisation and organisation of the market according to the models of major European cities, with the enactment of open procedures for the acquisition of a licence and access to the profession of a taxi driver and in general the development of business activity in this sector.
