A 39-year-old woman was arrested in Athens on Wednesday on suspicion of breaking into a company’s safe in March and stealing 1.25 million euros.
Police said they suspect the woman aided a 43-year-old Pakistani man who worked at the company until March, when he returned to his homeland.
The pair are accused of breaking into the company’s offices in Koropi, east of Athens, disconnecting the CCTV system and breaking into the safe.
