Volume on the Big Cap index totaled 8,417 contracts worth 18.358 million euros, with 30,661 short positions in the market.

Volume in futures contracts on equities totaled 27,944 contracts worth 8,168 million euros, with investment interest focusing on National Bank’s contracts (9,216), followed by Eurobank (3,473), GEK (2,608), Bank of Cyprus (2,119), Alpha Bank (2,113), Piraeus Bank (2,106), MIG (1,345), PPC (870), ATEbank (640), OTE (623) and OPAP (612).
