Volume on the Big Cap index totaled 3,747 contracts worth 8.043 million euros, with 28,337 short positions in the market. Volume in futures contracts on equities totaled 16,419 contracts worth 3,429 million euros, with investment interest focusing on Bank of Piraeus’ contracts (7,787) followed by National Bank (3,990), Alpha Bank (833), MIG (536), ATEbank (507), Marfin Popular Bank (438) and Eurobank (419).
