A 37-year-old professional army officer was arrested in Thessaloniki on Thursday after allegedly turning a rented apartment in the northern port into an illegal brothel.

A 37-year-old professional army officer was arrested in Thessaloniki on Thursday after allegedly turning a rented apartment in the northern port into an illegal brothel.
Police said they arrested a second man, aged 36, who is alleged to have managed the illicit business, as well as two young women – a 23-year-old Albanian and a 28-year-old Greek – who allegedly worked as prostitutes.
The two men are believed to have rented another apartment in the city for the same reason in the past, according to police sources.
