Bank staff strike on 14-15 December

The bank workers’ union OTOE has decided to hold a 48-hour strike on December 14-15 as well as a rally at Syntagma Square at 13:00 on Tuesday and a second rally at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Pedion tou Areos, along with other groups of workers participating in a nationwide strike.

The strike is held in protest at the government measures for collective labour agreements in the private sector, which the trade union said were a direct attack on the trade union movement, collective labour agreements and fundamental rights of workers.
