General News: Elefsina tollgate protest ends

The protest rally organised by members of the “I won’t pay tolls” movement at the Elefsina tollgate earlier in the day has come to an end. For over two hours the protesters had raised the tollgate bars on both lanes of the Athens-Corinth national motorway, allowing vehicles to pass freely. The members of the movement were expressing in this way their protest over the increased, as they said, toll prices.
