‘Indignados’ return to Syntagma Square
The “Indignados” have taken up positions again in front of Parliament in Syntagma Square in downtown Athens, despite Thursday’s violent incidents. The known slogans against the Parliamentary parties are dominant, while the riot police were also the target if criticism.

The participants, mostly young people, stress that they will continue mobilisations “for as long as necessary.” The presence of the police is strong and riot police have surrounded Parliament and so far nothing resembles Wednesday’s scene.
