ND leader meetings on ‘closed’ professions issue

Main opposition New Democracy party leader Antonis Samaras met on Tuesday with representatives participating in a public dialogue on the issue of opening up so-called “closed professions”, which according to sources, listened to their positions.

The ND leader met with representatives of notary publics, pharmacists, chartered accountants, engineers and lawyers, who conveyed their concerns over the government’s intentions to proceed with the liberalisation of “closed professions.”
