Papoutsis to brief EU counterparts on illegal migration issue
Citizen’s Protection Minister Christos Papoutsis will brief the European Union’s council of justice and internal affairs ministers on results from the implementation of Athens actions to curb illegal immigration into the country and reforms of the asylum procedure

Citizen’s Protection Minister Christos Papoutsis will brief the European Union’s council of justice and internal affairs ministers on results from the implementation of Athens actions to curb illegal immigration into the country and reforms of the asylum procedure
The council will convene in Brussels on Thursday and Friday, with the primary issues on the agenda being efforts to combat organised crime, terrorism, cyberspace crime, as well as better protection of the EU’s borders and the handling of crises.
Papoutsis departed for Brussels on Wednesday.
