Partial stoppage of departure from ports

A partial departure detention has been issued due to strong winds in the sea side areas that even reach 8-9B.

Blue Star Ithaki did not perform its routes for Syros, Tinon, Mykonos, Blue Star Dilos did not go to Paros, Naxos, Ios, Thira and Ag. Georgios was unable to sail to Serifos, Sifnos, Folegandros, Sikinos and Ios.

Ships from Rafina were prohibited from sailing to Cyclades but are able to reach as far as Marmari. The route for Kea-Kythnos was not performed from Lavrio earlier this morning.

The routes  from Salamina to Perama and Faneromeni will run normally with two passenger ferries.

However, according to the central Port Authority winds in the high seas will strengthen, and passengers are advised to communicate with local port authorities and travel agents before travelling.
