Passengers will have to declare their interest in taking part in the Train-taxi program when they buy their tickets, either online, at stations or at travel agencies. They will also have to name their final destination in Thessaloniki.
Anyone boarding Thessaloniki-bound trains up to Katerini station will be able to apply for a discount on their taxi ride.
The scheme is the result of a cooperation between the Hellenic Railways Organization (OSE) and the Eurotaxi cab company in Thessaloniki. It will run for four months
