A ticket clerk at the Nea Ionia station on Athens’s ISAP electric railway line is to be rewarded for his honesty after handing over a bag full of cash and checks he found at the station on Wednesday. The unnamed employee found a bag containing 18,000 euros in cash, checks worth around 60,000 euros and personal documents, which he promptly turned over to ISAP’s management, who in turn handed it over to the police.
